According to the characteristics of the sperm used and the background of the patient , the insemination is carried out by means of conventional IVF and / or ICSI .
  • The day after the insemination, we observe the fertilization of the oocytes. Those who are well fertilized will stay in the laboratory under observation for several days ( between 2 and 5 days ) . Day after day we will see how the embryos divide and increase the number of cells .
  • The resulting embryos that have sufficient morphological charcteristics will be transferred to the uterus of the receiver and the rest will be frozen.
  • The day of the transfer the appropriate number of embryos will be determined, and can not be more than three per cycle of ivf.
  • The gynecologist uses a small catheter to guide the oocytes through the cervix and into the uterus. The embryo transfer procedure takes a few minutes and the recovery time is minimal for the patient coming for treatment abroad.

Pregnancy Test:

  • The pregnancy test will be carried out through a blood test 13 days after the oocyte retrieval from the donor.
  • If the patient suffers from blood loss before the test is performed , it is important to never leave the medication and immediately contact the medical team.
