IMED Hospitals Group has established a relationship with the England National Football team to offer medical services if it was deemed necessary during their visit to our country for the match against the Spanish team last Friday.

Dr. Ian Beasley, head of medical services for the England Football Association and Doctor to the England National Football Team, visited the hospital on arrival and met with the management and medical profesionales to enable a cordial and fluid communication throughout the week. IMED Levante Hospital in Benidorm became the medical centre of reference for the English team during their stay in Spain.

Some members of the team such as the striker Jamie Vardy, current top scorer in the Premier League, also had the opportunity to see the hospital facilities and services. It should be mentioned that this hospital in Spain is a reference in sport treatments.

In sporting terms, the match ended with a 2-0 home win. However, we must remember the England National team has completed the qualifying matches for the 2016 European Cup in France, winnning all their matches and is a candidate to win the next European Championship.
